Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott says no time limit has been set in the search for Flight MH370. Speaking at a press conference in the Pearce air force base, Abbott said Australia is working with all available resources on all possible leads in the search.

Monday's operations involved 10 aircraft and 10 ships from seven countries. The militaries of Malaysia, Australia, the United States, New Zealand, China, Japan and South Korea are all working to find the missing plane. The marine force includes two ships of the Royal Australian Navy and seven Chinese ships and a merchant vessel.

The Australian naval vessel Ocean Shield left Perth Monday, fitted with a black box detector and an autonomous underwater vehicle. The black box may stop sending signal in 7 days, although the battery might last longer.
