Top-ranked Serena Williams will face Jelena Jankovic in the final of the WTA China Open. It's her 12th final of the year.

Williams continued her domination in the semi-final over the world No. 3 Agnieszka Radwanska, storming into the final 6-2, 6-2. Williams lost only 14 points over her eight games serving and saved the only break point Radwanska managed. World No. 11 Jankovic beat Petra Kvitova in her semi-final. The hard-fought 6-7, 6-1, 6-1 victory was Jankovic's first win against the former Wimbledon winner. Jankovic has beaten Williams four out of 10 times in the past.
