Anti-austerity protests spread in debt-strapped Europe

There were anti-austerity demonstrations in several debt-strapped European countries on Saturday.
In Spain, activists marked the one-year anniversary of the founding of the "15 M" movement, with nationwide demonstrations. Protesters took to the streets of Barcelona, with organizers claiming up to 300 thousand people took part.

In Hungary, around 2, 500 far-right supporters marched through the capital Budapest, shouting slogans against the government's austerity cutbacks.
Many Hungarians are angry about a series of tax hikes and other measures which authorities say are needed to support growth and keep the country's budget deficit under control.
