Data shows that the price of cooking oil in China has been steadily advancing since the end of March. On the back of increasing global soybean prices, soybean oil prices have increased some 15 percent this year, to 10 thousand and 350 yuan per ton. According to insiders, the National Development and Reform Commission will hold talks with other food associations in beverage, dairy, sugar, wine and others to guard against a rebound in inflation.
