Over to the NBA...and the Miami Heat's roller-coaster season continues. The star-studded team would try to find a winning combination at home against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.

LeBron James started on target. He led the Heat on a 12-1 run in the first quarter. The Heat jumped out to a quick 16-point lead against Denver.

Dwyane Wade was also in great form for Miami. His second quarter jumper enforced the Heat's double digit advantage. D-Wade finished with 32 points.

Still in the second, guard Mike Bibby got into the action. He delivered a three-pointer from the corner. The Heat stopped a Nugget advance and led by 9.

Second half...Chris Bosh with a tough individual effort against Denver's front line. He scored on a one-handed hoop and the Heat pushed the gap back to 15-points.

The Nuggets finally had one more run...and scored off a Miami miss. Danilo Gallinari went all the way to the basket. Denver cut the deficit down to 11.

But Miami put an end to the Nuggets' streak. James' slam dunk broke the string and the Heat extended their lead down the stretch. James surpassed Wade and scored 33 points for Miami.

South Florida fans went home happy as the hosts finally sealed the 103-98 victory. The Heat take their 2nd straight win.

Spurs sting Bobcats 109-98

The Spurs hosted the Charlotte Bobcats at the AT & T Center...

San Antonio opened with a 12-6 lead. Gary Neal hit an up-and-under lay-up, the hosts were in front by 8.

The Bobcats fell behind by 16 points midway through the second quarter. Charlotte's DJ Augustin saw his shot bounce out, George Hill got the ball and somehow got a ridiculous scoop shot to fall while being fouled. The three-point play put San Antonio ahead 43-24.

The Spurs were crisp on offense and ran the Charlotte defense ragged. They swung the ball to sharp-shooting Steve Novak in the corner. The home team held a 23-point lead in the third quarter.

The Bobcats saw their comeback bid foiled by turnovers. Hill found Novak for another open three. The former Marquette University star would not miss. Novak led San Antonio with 19 points, and the Spurs went on to beat the Bobcats 109-98.
