Japanese car maker Mitsubishi Motors wants to sell its electric vehicles, alongside household electronics products. And it's taken the first step by collaborating with Bic Camera in Japan.

The country's leading discount retailer, will display Mitsubishi's i-MiEV electric cars in four of its biggest stores in Tokyo. Mitsubishi became the first major car maker to sell battery powered cars last year. It began exporting electric cars to Europe last month, and is also talking about the possibility of selling electric cars through a U.S. electronics retailer.
