On Friday Pambassador Huang Xi from China and Pambassador Ashley Robertson from America took on their duties to be "panda moms". What sort of experience have they had?

In the Sun nursery facility at Chengdu Panda Base live new-born panda cubs and one-year-old pandas.

Huang Xi and Ashley Robertson arrive early in the morning and begin to prepare for their day's work: feeding panda cubs and helping with their grooming. Panda keepers told the pambassadors they should be very patient and careful just as if they are taking care of real babies.

Huang Xi said, "We put a dish in front of the cub. But you must separate the baby pandas a little, or the one who finishes first will drink the others' milk."
