New Jersey beach-goers ran for safety on Friday as a shark swam ashore.

Home video taken at the Seaside Park Beach captured the shocking moment.

The shark, which appeared to be just under two-meters long, came right up onto the sand before turning and swimming back out to sea.

The beach was briefly closed after the incident. No one was injured.
