The high water level continues in China's longest waterway even the flood peak was weekened by the Three Gorges Dam.

Yangtze River's flood peak reached the middle reaches of Wuhan Section on Friday, driving the water level close to the warning line. And it is expected to break the threshold on Saturday morning.

While in the lower reaches of Jiujiang Section, the water level has been above the alert line for 11 consecutive days and is expected to continue until the end of the month.
