Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) is the official song for the FIFA World Cup 2010 which will take place between 11 June and 11 July 2010 in South Africa.

Shakira, the singer of the song, will participate in the opening concert of the FIFA World Cup in South Africa with other artists like Alicia Keys, John Legend and the Black Eyed Peas. Waka Waka has been recorded specially for the occasion with South African group Freshly ground and will be the official anthem of the competition.
