People in Southern China are battered by heavy rain storms from April 5, 2010. Cities and rural areas have suffered severe flooding, with many roads being blocked in Hunan, Guangdong, Jiangxi provinces and Chongqing municipality. Local authorities are now working to implement disaster relief measures.
