A team from the Qinghai Reservist Brigade has repaired many of Yushu's communication lines.

Cables were severely damaged when the earthquake struck. Restoring the lines proved difficult, with many telegraph poles levelled by landslides. The team re-installed 30-kilometers of cables in the worse-hit area.
