Policies helping graduates find jobs

The number of college graduates in China is expected to reach 6.3 million, in 2010. The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security says it will adopt policies to help these graduates find a job.
Guo Yan is a college teacher. Her daughter will graduate this year.
College teacher Guo Yan said, "I wish my child will find a suitable job in 2010."
Parents aren't the only ones concerned about graduate jobs.
Scholar Lian Si said, "The government should create more job opportunities in second and third tier cities, and let college graduates find their careers in those cities."
Li Kaifu, CEO of Innivation Works, said, "In 2010, I want to know whether there will be new policies to help young people find jobs or start their own business."
Yin Weimin, Minister of Ministry of Human Resources & social Security, said, "First, we will explore more employment channels for college graduates. Second, we will encourage them to find jobs in small and privately run companies. And we will also encourage them to start their own businesses."
In 2010, China will nominate 86 cities where new supportive policies can be implemented. They'll include subsidies for graduates, and changes that will ease the burden on businesses to ensure they can maintain stable employment.
