The Airbus A380 has qualified for permission to fly to China. The Civil Aviation Administration of China issued an airplane type validation certification to Airbus on Thursday. The administration said the examination process aims to ensure the airworthiness of the A380 model.

The decision means the design of the A380 complies with China's aviation rules and regulations. Currently, more than 530 aircraft made by Airbus are used in China. Airbus said it will continue to closely cooperate with Chinese customers to ensure the successful operation of the A380 in the country.
