Beijing started inoculating more people with the A/H1N1 flu vaccine, as the disease continues to spread.

Starting Monday, and for the next month, all registered Beijing residents older than three are eligible to be inoculated with the A/H1N1 flu vaccine. This will be conducted on a voluntary basis. An ID card is the only thing people need to bring to get the free shot.

A nurse in Beijing said, "We've vaccinated fifty people in an hour and a half. We are expecting more than a hundred people today. We prepared more than one thousand doses of the vaccine."

402 clinics are providing the service until December 13th. Most are in residential areas.

The A/H1N1 flu is spreading quickly in China and other countries in the world. The US magazine "Healthy" lists ten details, which people ignore in their daily lives that can increase the chance of contracting the disease.

For instance, anxiety can weaken the body's immune system and its ability to fight the virus. Smoking damages the lungs and excessive drinking dehydrates the body. Both make you more vulnerable to the virus. The magazine also suggests people wash their hands carefully at least ten times a day, using regular soap.
