Beijing Olympic icon -- the Bird's Nest -- hosts a dazzling show Tuesday evening a concert combining pop, classical and Chinese folk music.
Song Zuying, leading lady of the concert, tenor Placido Domingo, pianist Lang Lang, and pop singer Jay Chow all attended a news conference on Monday to talk about the concert. The show will feature some firsts including a collaboration between singer Song Zuying and Lang Lang. The concert's production crew is largely the same as for the Olympic ceremonies last year. The music will be performed by a combination of three top orchestras. Between 70 and 80 thousand people are expected to attend.
