The Air France Airbus crash also casts a pall over the event, as many participants have expressed skepticism about the quality of Airbus. Despite the crash of flight 447, Airbus still got an order from Qatar Airways. Qatar is buying 24 A320 jets, totaling 1.9 billion US dollars.
The Aviation Industry Cooperation of China is also showing off some of its most advanced warplanes. The display is also the first showcase event since the the firm was restructured in November last year.
