Over 15 tons of tomatoes have been collected for the extravaganza.

The town is Colombia's biggest tomato producer. Locals came up with the idea five years ago, taking inspirations from similar festivals in France and Spain. They hope the annual tomato festival can boost trade while giving people a good laugh.
