Li Changchun, a senior official of the Communist Party of China, has met with the Governor of New South Wales, Marie Bashir, in Sydney.
Li Changchun, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, said he's glad to see that cooperation between China and New South Wales has been increased.
He noted New South Wales has become the investment center for Chinese enterprises in Australia.
He said he hopes China and New South Wales will further cooperation in various fields, and push forward the friendship between China and Australia.
Bashir said she has witnessed China's development. And she said she has always believed that friendly cooperation between Australia and China is an important element of the peaceful development of the Asia-Pacific region.
