Snow and rain have swept northern parts of China, bringing some much-needed moisture.

In the capital, Beijing, people are glad to see the snow improving the air quality. The city has cleared snow on the roads and set traffic restrictions to ensure the safety.
The National Meteorological Center forecasts more rain over northern areas in the next two days. Taking advantage of the cold front, there are plans for more cloud-seeding in the hope of producing rain to ease the drought.
