Little Bay has been busy with a steady stream of customers coming through the doors, many of whom had made reservations to ensure a table.
A customer said, "I wouldn't have known the restaurant existed were it not for the promotion. That is the reason for popping in."
The restaurant industry has suffered in the deepening recession. Only a year ago top London restaurants buzzed with high-earning bankers.
In recent months bankers have moved to more reasonably priced eateries. It shows a unique promotion can make a restaurant stand out and still make a sound profit.
