Well-known Peking Opera performers Yu Kuizhi plays Zhuge Liang.

Yu Kuizhi, actor of Zhuge Liang, said, "As in the previous dramas, we highlight general Zhuge Liang's intelligence and elegance, but in the past, he tended to have a silver mustache for the role. In this one I wear a black mustache. I'll portray an image of this wise man that's more youthful and charming."
Elegant performances by the lead actors give the Peking Opera its authentic flavour, while the luxurious setting makes it even more appealing. So far, it's gone down a storm with audiences.
An audience member said, "Their rendition was great, and the whole design was also very good."
An audience member said, "I think the scenes are magnificent, the lyrics are beautiful and the lead performers are all well-known Peking Opera stars. Their singing was fantastic."
The venue was packed on Monday night to watch the opening performance. The show will continue to entertain Beijing audiences until next Monday.
