HSBC opened its second rural bank on the Chinese mainland in Chongqing on Tuesday. The lender said the Chongqing Dazu HSBC Rural Bank is an important part of growing its rural finance business on the Chinese mainland.
With registered capital of 40 million yuan and a staff of 20 people, the Dazu bank will provide financial services -- from deposits and loans to supply chain financing -- to local rural enterprises and individuals.
