Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan
Autumn is the best time to view multi-coloured maple leaves in south China's Jiuzhaigou. With a fall of over 3000 meters from the peaks to the valleys, a variety of trees provide a spectacular view with rich colors throughout the 700 km2 scenic area.
With Huanglong Airport now in service, air transportation is a great convenience for tourists since they can avoid long hours in buses on mountain roads.
