Qingdao-based technology company MESNAC will submit a set of solutions for RFID tags mounted on tyre products at an international meeting in Marseilles, France, this September.

Established in 2000, MESNAC focuses on information equipment, industrial software application and new rubber material. It is one of the leading tyre producers in China with strong technological strength.

The RFID solutions for tyre products, if approved, will be the first international standards to be established for tyre-mounted electronic products.

MESNAC’s chief engineer for internet of things Dong Lanfei said that the smart technology will be applied worldwide in the future.

With the installation of an RFID chip, it is made possible to track tyre products’ information during their life cycles to ensure efficient quality control and improve safety performance.
