Companies of the world's 500 top enterprises have made investment in Qingdao, a coastal city of east China's Shandong province, with the continued optimization of the investment environment and specific programmes formulated and implemented.
In the first three quarters, 21 foreign funded projects were signed and established by the city and companies of global top 500 with total investment reaching US$1.89 billion.
Statistics shows that 255 projects in the fields of Auto, container, rail transportation, rubber tyre, internet, real estate, warehousing, logistics and farm produce processing have been established by 130 companies of global top 500 in the city including Volkswagen, AP Moller-Maersk, Bombardier, Siemens, and Amazon.
