Qingdao to build China's 1st 3D printing ophthalmic center

Qingdao will build the China's first center of 3D printing application, research and development in ophthalmology. The center focuses on the application of advanced 3D technology in ophthalmology and building the leading 3D printing ophthalmic center in the country. The construction will be divided three phases. A 3D printing laboratory of ophthalmic plastic application, research and development will be planned in the first phase as well as a prosthetic laboratory and a data processing center. In the second phase, a national research and development laboratory of technology and materials, and an eye-doctor training and exchange center for 3D printing application will be constructed. A bio-application laboratory of lens 3D-printing will be prepared in the third phase. |
