The smash-hit musical Ghost will hit the stage of the Qingdao Grand Theater on June 19, according to the Chinese-language Qingdao Daily.
Based on the phenomenal Oscar-winning movie that captured the hearts and imaginations of a generation back in the 1990s, Ghost is a timeless fantasy about the power of love.
Besides the romantic plot, the musical version of Ghost is expected to charm the audience with its special effects and dazzling staging. Most of the music used at the performance is newly written for the musical except the theme song, according to its music director Christopher Nightingale.
Ticket prices range from 180 yuan ($28.7) to 1,280 yuan ($204). Students can enjoy a favorable price at 80 yuan with their student identity cards.
