Qingdao, a coastal city of East China's Shandong province, will be host to the China (Qingdao) International Software Convergence and Innovation Expo 2015 in this July.
With the theme of "ICT (Information Communication Technology) promoting Internet Industry", the three-day event aims at facilitating ICT applications in product innovation, R&D, design, manufacturing and marketing in the enterprises.
The expo will be held in the Qingdao International Convention Center, which will be divided into six exhibition areas to display the city's achievements in software, smart city building, 3D printing technology, mobile Internet, Internet of Things and Beidou satellite navigation system.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Qingdao government will co-sponsor the event.
