Recently, Qingdao Science and Technology Bureau and Bureau of Finance establish a fund for commercializing marine research findings, with initial contribution of 20 million yuan. They openly recruited TITH Holdings Co., Ltd as the fund management company (GP). They held the first partner meeting and set up a decision-making committee, which marks that the fund starts operation.
The fund invested 5 million yuan to support Natural Science Foundation for commercializing of project. The project is a substitute for antibiotics, which is already tradable on Qingdao technology trading market and bought by Bochao Biotech Service Co., Ltd for 3 million yuan.
The fund highlights the positioning of fund for commercializing marine research findings, integrates resources of professional technology transfer institutes and helps form a new of operation for capitalizing scientific and technological achievements.
