The press conference for releasing the “2014 Top 50 List of Taxpayer Enterprises in Qingdao” was held in conference center for government officials. Li Qun, member of the Standing Committee and city’s Communist Party secretary said that Qingdao needs to strengthen its service awareness, respect enterprises' principle position and make Qingdao “city of innovation andentrepreneurship”. Zhang Xin, mayor of Qingdaot attended the conference and read the list.
There are 4 enterprises that contributed more than 1 billion yuan to fiscal income. Haier has topped the list for the 4th consecutive year. The total tax income has increased from 2.155 billion yuan in 2013 to 2.634 billion yuan in 2014. The average tax paid by top 50 enterprises on the list has increased from 360 million yuan to 420 million yuan.
Li Qun said that enterprises are the driving force with the most vitality in the urban development. A city can’thave continuousprosperity without theseflouring enterprises. In 2014, financial industry and real estate industry have outstanding performances. 16 real estate enterprises are on the list and make great devotion to the fiscal income.
