Shinan District of Qingdao has published the 2015 report on the work of the government which makes a comprehensive conclusion of the work done in 2014. Faced with complicated economic situation and heavy development task, led by municipal Party committee, municipal government and district Party committee, supervised by NPC and its standing committee, the district has made great progress in stabilizing growth, promoting reform, adjusting structure and benefiting citizens. Besides, the district pays much attention to improving quality and profit, optimizing industrial structure and realizing a healthy economy.
Over the past year, Shinan District positively coped with the pressure brought by economic downturns, fully implemented policies that boost economy. It is expected that the total output value can reach 85 billion yuan, up by 8%. The financial budget revenue of district-level government can reach 11.09 billion yuan. The pace of structural adjustment has been accelerated. Cathay United Bank and other 12 financial institutions are brought into the district and the added value of financial industry accounts for 25% of the total output value. There are 617 new agents and 150 logistics enterprise and the total number of these two kinds of enterprises are 4451 and 3355 respectively.
