Throughits unremitting endeavor, Qingdao makes to the top 10 among 106 state-level high-tech zones. Meanwhile, to accelerate the aggregation of high-end research platforms, Qingdao has brought in Chinese Academy of Sciences, CSIC and universities.
In 2014, Qingdao High-tech Zone took building the upgrade version of “blue high-tech zone” as its goal, explored and set up the development mechanism of “promoting development with market forces, driving upgrade by innovation ability”. It has fully implemented the“demonstration project of organizational innovation in emerging industries”and maximized the elements of innovation. It is rated as one of the 12 demonstration projects of implementing “China Entrepreneurs” by Ministry of Science and Technology. In 2014, it ranks the 9th of all the high-tech zones.
Since 2014, Qingdao High-tech Zone has brought in Academy of Opto-electronics of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Acoustics, Institute of Automation. Among them, Academy of Opto-electronics of Chinese has established Beidou Navigation Qingdao R&D Center and set up “Beidou Navigation Satellite Industry Association” with 36 R&D institutes, universities and enterprises. Qingdao R&D Center is under construction, which will become the largest regional R&D center of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
