Shandong Air plans to open direct services between Qingdao and Tokyo in the future, in a bid to offer Shandong and Japanese passengers more convenience and options in travel, according to a memorandum of understanding on cooperation recently signed by the company and its Japanese counterpart All Nippon Airways.

The two sides also agree to share their services on part of their international and domestic flights marked with each other’s company code.
