Happy Valley amusement park at Sheshan will stage evening fireworks displays, parades and an acrobatic show and will open until 9pm during October 1 to 5.
The park has decided to stay open at night to attract more afternoon visitors in a bid to manage the flow of visitors during the peak holiday season, Oriental Morning Post reported today.
Acrobats will perform at 7pm on October 1, 2, 6, 7 and 8, while fireworks will be lit at 9pm every night from October 1 to 5. Park admission is 160 yuan (US$23.50) before October 12, after which the price will rise to 200 yuan.
