Sanya's tourism industry has agreed on a tourism marketing promotion plan for 2009, and it will focus on promoting the resort area in ten countries and regions.
The Sanya Tourism Development Administration and the Sanya Tourism Association organized representatives from hotels, attractions, and travel agencies in Sanya to hold a tourism marketing seminar to discuss the tourism promotion plans for next year.
According to the plan, Sanya is focusing on promoting its tour products in Russia, Ukraine, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Germany, Kazakstan, Azerbaijan, Japan, the UK, and Hong Kong.
For the mainland Chinese market, in addition to the summer tourism promotions, Sanya will focus on a number of major cities in the spring and autumn. Aiming at the MICE market, Sanya will participate in the 2009 IT&CM Shanghai conference in April 2009.
