A light plane sideslipped on Wednesday in the Brazilian airport of Congonhas, in the city of Sao Paulo, but without casualties.
Three people, two pilots and a passenger, were aboard on the plane. According to the Brazilian Authority of Airports (Infraero), they were both unhurt, only the airport was closed during an hour due to the accident.
The twin-engine plane of the company Ultrafarma, a King Air model with prefix of PT-PAC, was going to the city of Sao Jose do Rio Preto, about 400 kilometers away from Sao Paulo, but stopped at the end of the runway, near a wall which separates the airport and the busy street of Rubem Berta.
In July 2007, an Airbus A320 belonging to Tam Brazil crashed into a compound of Tam warehouses and fuel deposits after skidding off the runway in the rain at the same airport, killing 199 people.
