Ten visitors to the virtual Italy pavilion at www.expo.cn were given a VIP tour of the real one yesterday after winning an online lucky draw.
Each of them received a flute concert ticket, a bottle of Italian red wine, and a souvenir pin of the pavilion.
Yin Yue, a student from Fudan University, was the luckiest of all as he also won VIP trips to the Netherlands Pavilion, Norway Pavilion and Finland Pavilion via similar lucky draws. It was his ninth visit to the World Expo.
