The Exhibition of Traditional Chinese Handicrafts is held from Oct 13 to 21 at the Cultural Palace of Nationalities in Beijing, organized by the Chinese National Academy of Arts, China National Arts and Crafts Museum, and China National Art and Crafts society.
The exhibition will display about 2,000 works from all over the country, including jade sculpture, tooth sculpture, stone sculpture, wood sculpture, ceramic, embroidery, knitting, jewelry, and furniture. The exhibits will consist of both handicrafts of traditional and local styles and original works with modern themes.
