Mamma Mia!, a stage musical written by British playwright Catherine Johnson, is a worldwide smash hit and now taps into Chinese market with its Chinese version.

Based on the songs of ABBA composed by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, the musical takes the title from Abba's 1975 chart topper. ABBA's greatest hits are woven into a sunny tale set on a Greek island.

As of 2011, the show has been played in 240 world cities in 14 languages since its London debut in 1999.
