The Badaling Great Wall administration office hosts the film festival to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Communist Party of China.

The month-long free event will screen eight classic Chinese revolutionary movies, including "Sparkling Red Star" and "The Warfare of Landmines," with an appeal from the old-fashioned outdoor cinema to experience the revolutionary culture of China.

The event also gives the rare opportunity to climb the Great Wall at night, a wonderful retreat to escape from the heat of the downtown Beijing.
