This is possibly Beijing's best-known department store, standing proudly along the east Third Ring Road, next to the Kempinski Hotel. It is home to a wide selection of top quality products, including clothes, a delightful baby section, shoes and bags, home ware items - including fine quality bedding - jewellery, Chinese ornaments, jade items, and a huge toy section. A few eateries run around the outside of the store, including the ever-popular Paulaner Brauhaus German restaurant. Inside, the Lufthansa boasts Beijing's most mouth-watering Italian ice cream (on the fourth floor). There is a substantial car park outside.
