Stretching all the way from the Second to the Third Ring Roads, Xinjiekou Clothing Street is often overlooked, but it contains some fantastic shops that sell items at decent prices. You can find great, cheap clothing (predominantly women's) with a sense of individuality often missing from other markets and outlets. It is renowned amongst Beijing's fashionable but financially limited women as one of the best places to pick up a bargain. Xinjiekou is also well-known for its music and DVD stores and eateries. Shops are open daily from 10:00 to 20:00.
