Dagu Glacier scenic area and various villages in Heishui county, Aba Tibetan autonomous prefecture will launch tourism programs for tourists to visit the area around Spring Festival holiday.

 

At the Dagu Glacier scenic area, visitors will be able to enjoy glacier topography and virgin forest views, feed Tibetan macaque at Jinhouhai Lake, capture images of wildlife roaming in snowfield with their cameras, and sip a cup of aromatic coffee at a caffeine at 4,860 meters above sea level.

 

Scattered around Heishui county, various villages could be the best places to have an authentic taste of a Tibetan style Spring Festival. Visitors may taste traditional Tibetan cuisine and unique beer product made of highland barley, enjoy special menu for Chinese New Year's Eve, join Guozhuang dance and sing folk songs. Products of local distinction are available for purchase, including cured pork, honey, yak meat, mushrooms, vegetables, and precious traditional Chinese medicine materials.
