Fubao Town, located in Luzhou City of Sichuan Province, is dubbed a living fossil of Sichuan’s traditional rural residences. The town, which was first built during the early years of the Yuan Dynasty (1271–1368), features well-preserved wooden-stilted buildings along the mountain side.
