Zhegu Mountain Natural Park opened for business on December 19, 2016 as a completely natural ski resort. Tourist arrivals at the park were over 20,000 during the Spring Festival of the Year of Rooster.

In addition to ski fields and snowfield log cabins, the park also has amusement facilities such as snowfield maze, snowfield tank, ice mountain bike, ice bumper cars and snowfield merry-go-round. There are also rope bridges where prayer flags hang, a distinctive scene in Tibetan-inhabited areas.

Zhegu Mountain has an altitude of 3,000-4,000 meters. The high altitude and rich forest resources there have created a special climate. Tourists can go skiing, watch snow and play with the snow in winter and early spring; they can watch flowers in late spring; they can go camping, enjoy the sunrise and sunset and watch the starry night in summer; they can watch the red leaves all over the mountain in autumn.

The park is also an ideal place for self-driving tours.
