The actual investment inflow in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region totaled 205.14 billion yuan in 2016, up by 13 percent year on year, according to the Ningxia Department of Commerce on Feb. 6. A total of 934 project contracts were implemented in Ningxia last year.
The Ningxia Department of Commerce enhanced economic and technological cooperation with Tianjin, Fujian, Zhejiang and other municipalities, provinces and autonomous regions, and strengthened industrial linkages with Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Inner Mongolia and other neighboring provinces and autonomous regions in 2016.
Ningxia also held various investment attraction activities in Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta and Circum-Bohai-Sea regions and attended trade fairs in Tianjin, Xiamen and many other cities. Many foreign enterprises like Amazon and Schneider Electric have established workshops in Ningxia until now.
The actual investment volume in Ningxia is expected to reach 220 billion yuan in 2017, according to the Ningxia Department of Commerce.
