The Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region received 1.59 million tourists during the seven-day Spring Festival holiday from Jan. 27 to Feb. 2, with the tourism revenue totaling 614 million yuan, according to the Ningxia Tourism Development Committee on Feb. 2.
Various winter tourism activities featuring the Yellow River Golden Bank, skiing, mountain climbing, ice fishing and so on were held across Ningxia during the festival. The Yongning Lantern and Gourmet Festival received 135,300 tourists from both home and abroad during the holiday. Scenic spots including Ningxia Horticulture Park, Helan Mountain Forest Park and so on also presented colorful winter activities like snow sculpture exhibition, skiing and other ice sports items.
