A total of 40 kinds of wines produced by 40 chateaus at the Eastern Piedmont of the Helan Mountain in Ningxia will be exhibited at the newly built City of Wine in Bordeaux, France, which was open to the public on June 1.
The exhibition will last for three years and the Ningxia production area is the only one among Chinese counterparts that attends the exhibition in such a great scale. The exhibition will provide a long-term exhibition and exchange platform for Ningxia produced wines to go global.
The City of Wine in Bordeaux, with a total investment of 81 million Euros and a construction period of seven years, has collected and showcased high-quality wines produced in 80 countries around the world. Occupying a total area of 13,350 square meters, it is expected to attract 450,000 tourists every year.
