The China Institute of Arab States Studies, affiliated to the Ningxia University, was established in Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, according to an unveiling ceremony held on May 5.
Facing towards the whole Arab world, the institute incorporates functions of academic research, policy-making consulting and talent cultivation and aims to become an influential think tank on Arab States studies in five to ten years.
The institute will carry out research on six areas, namely, the bilateral diplomacy, the China-Arab States Expo, financial cooperation, technological transfer, industrial cooperation and cultural exchanges. The China-Arab States Think Tank Dialogue, China-Arabs States Legislation Forum and other academic activities will be held so as to enhance communication and cooperation.
